The Managing Editor is in charge of enforcing the editorial policy and maintaining the Editing department’s efficiency.
Duties
• Manage a team of editors and senior editors and provide feedback.
• Maintain the efficiency of the department and uphold the highest standards for the work produced.
• Schedule article submissions and editing stages for all employees.
• Implement department and operational shifts as required by the executive management.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner.
Requirements
• Sound editing knowledge and considerable management experience.
• Superior ability to think critically and innovate new strategies.
• Strong work ethic and efficient task completion.
